a Toronto-based Creative Producer & 3D Designer blending art and tech to craft immersive, fun experiences.
I was born in 1987 in the Northeast region of Brazil - the most beautiful place on earth. My journey has a quite number of twists, turns, and invaluable lessons, each step building anticipation for what lies ahead.
In 2005, I had made my choice, I decided to study Chemistry at university, aspiring to become a Chemistry Teacher - I had a great time learning more and more about the power of Education but not so much about Chemistry itself.
After 3 years of studying and having worked as a teacher for a couple of months, I felt the itch for a change. Frustrated with Chemistry, a friend's suggestion made me pivot my trajectory, ditched the lab coat, and dove headfirst into the world of Advertising. I consider this the first domino in a series of changes I would make in my career.
In 2010 I got my first job in advertising by scripting radio spots. Evolving with the social media boom in 2011, I transitioned to content management. Progressing further, I took on roles as a Digital Marketing Manager and later as Director of Operations.
I published a book about a guy that want’s to publish a book 📖
One time I worked as a manager at a Cake Shop - great times! 🎂
I like sushi with cream cheese 🍣
It was when I was working as a Digital Marketing Manager at a game company that for the first time I’ve wondered about two things: I could be a developer and I could work with games. Two things that hasn’t passed through my mind before.
Following a suggestion from another friend, I decided to learn Unity and C# and made a game about me and my then girlfriend - now wife 🙏 - called "Angry Bedou’s" and I loved the experience - but the thing is, every time I learn something new, I need to build something around it and that’s how Gorlami! was born.
Back in 2015, I kicked off Gorlami! a mobile game studio alongside a designer friend of mine I'd previously had worked with during my time in advertising. Our humble mission? Cook up straightforward games, curate a killer portfolio, and flex our creative muscles for potential clients.
Fast forward a year, and our squad has grown to a solid 8-player lineup, we were accelerated by a startup program and published out a number of game projects that have left their mark on numerous brands.
It was quite the ride, to say the least!
Was through one of these clients that another twist would come to my life. An opportunity to move to Canada and continue my work as a Producer contributing to hit titles like Jeopardy! World Tour, Puzzle Solitaire, Ava’s Manor and many others.
In 2021, recovering from a pandemic and itching for a fresh challenge, I decided to take a one-year sabbatical to embark on a new journey of learning - Initially, armed with a notebook, sleek pencils, and all the bells and whistles I was determined to learn 2D illustration until I quickly noticed that 3D was the right medium for me.
In 2023, after a year of working as a freelancer 3D Designer, "Boo’s and Chuckles" was born - a creative production brand dedicated to the birthing and nurturing of the IP’s I create. Passing through a full spectrum of projects — Toys, Short Movies, Gadgets, you name it.
Since then, I've been putting my skills to work as a Creative Producer and 3D Designer. Mixing things up, crafting projects that are dynamic, engaging, and just plain cool.
